  17. <p>     The worlds of high risk and heavy metal are coming together.
  18. Peter Morton, trend-sensitive co-founder of the Hard Rock Cafe
  19. chain, plans to open a Hard Rock hotel-casino in Las Vegas by
  20. late 1992. The 326-room property would be the resort's first
  21. casino to target patrons more versed in Ben E. King than Benny
  22. Goodman. Morton's chain of 11 Hard Rock restaurants, which
  23. serve down-home food and vintage rock, has grown to annual
  24. revenues of nearly $100 million. Morton's latest smash hit: a
  25. Hard Rock restaurant in Las Vegas, an instant landmark thanks
  26. to the 82-ft. electric guitar on its roof. The proposed casino
  27. will feature a 130-ft. guitar, plus a 75-ft. piano that will
  28. play hits by Elvis, Jerry Lee and other kings of rock.
